Sensitivity Calculator

Here is an online Diagnostic Test Evaluation Calculator to calculate the sensitivity, which is used in diagnostic test evaluation methods. Sensitivity is also defined as true positive rate. Positive cases are classified as true positives (sick people correctly identified as sick) and false positives (healthy people incorrectly identified as sick). In the below sensitivity calculator enter the values for disease and non disease to find the sensitivity.

Formula:

Sensitivity = True Positive / (True Positive + False Negative) x 100

Example

If the true positive and true negative values are 1,1 and false positive and false negative values are 6,3 then

Sensitivity = (1 / (1 + 3)) x 100
= 25 %

Diagnostic Test Evaluation, measures the sensitivity proportion of positives and negatives that are correctly identified based on the diseases.
