Base Edge of a Heptagonal Prism a= √ ( 4 V * tan ( 180° / 7 ) / 7 * h ) Where, a = Base Edge V = Volume h = Height

Example

If the height and volume of the heptagonal prism are 30 m and 10 m3
Base edge = √ ( 4 * 10 * tan ( 180° / 7 ) / 7 * 30 )
= √ ( 40 * tan ( 180° / 7 ) / 210)
= 0.3 m
