The light bulb is not lit and the switches are in off state. There is only one chance to visit the room. How can it be determined which of these switch is connected to the light bulb. Answer Puzzle 2: Eleven Apples Miss Anne has eleven kids in her class. She has a bowl containing eleven apples. Now Miss Anne want to divide the eleven apples to the kids, in such a way that a apple should remain in her bowl. How can Miss Anne do it? There is not any blood contact between the three persons. How can Dr.Will operate for the three people with two pair of surgical gloves? Answer Puzzle 4: Doctor and Gloves (2) Dr.Johnson and Dr.Smith wants to operate for two persons together. But they have only three pairs of gloves. There is not any blood contact between the two persons. How can two surgeons use the three pairs of gloves? Answer Puzzle 5: Two Fathers Two fathers took their sons to a fruit stall. Each man and son bought an apple, But when they returned home, they had only 3 apples. They did not eat, lost, or thrown. How could this be possible? Answer Puzzle 6: Pair of Socks Michael have ten pairs of black socks, eight pairs of white socks and seven pairs of green socks. Everything is mixed in a draw. As there is no light he were not able to identify the color of the socks. How many of the socks did he want to take to match one pair. Answer Puzzle 7: Fathers and Daughters Anne, Olivia and Jenita are daughters of Mr.Jack, Mr.Brown and Mr.Ran. Four of these people are playing badminton doubles. Mr.Ran's daughter and Mr.Jack are partners. Anne's father and Mr.Brown's daughter are also partners. There are not any father-daughter combinations. Who is Anne's father? Answer Puzzle 8: Colors John, Jenita, Maria and Julie went to a shop. Each picked a colorful ball of a different favorite color. The colors are Yellow, Violet, Green and Red. John and Maria both do not like violet. The person who likes red is a girl. Jenita likes green, but it is not her favorite color. Jenita's favorite color is either green or yellow, although she can have only one favorite color. John likes red, but it is not his favorite color. Answer Puzzle 9: Handshakes Jack and his wife went to a party where four other married couples were present. Every person shook hands with everyone he or she was not acquainted with. When the handshaking was over, Jack asked everyone, including his own wife, how many hands they shook. To his surprise, Jack got nine different answers.How many hands did Jack's wife shake? Answer Puzzle 10: Gold There are three boxes in a table. One of the box contains Gold and the other two are empty. A printed message contains in each box. One of the message is true and the other two are lies. The first box says 'The Gold is not here'. The Second box says 'The Gold is not here'. The Third box says 'The Gold is in the Second box'. Which box has the Gold? Answer Puzzle 11: Locker A high school has a strange principal. On the first day, he has his students perform an odd opening day ceremony:There are one thousand lockers and one thousand students in the school. The principal asks the first student to go to every locker and open it. Then he has the second student go to every second locker and close it. The third goes to every third locker and, if it is closed, he opens it, and if it is open, he closes it. The fourth student does this to every fourth locker, and so on. After the process is completed with the thousandth student, how many lockers are open? Answer Puzzle 12: Peasent A peasant is convicted in China. He gets the death penalty. The judge allows him to say a last sentence in order to determine the way the penalty will be carried out. If the peasant lies, he will be hanged, if he speaks the truth he will be beheaded. The peasant speaks a last sentence and to everybody surprise some minutes later he is set free because the judge cannot determine his penalty.What did the peasant said? Answer Puzzle 13: The superstitious president Mr. Fisher is a night watchman in a large company. On a certain morning when Mr. Fisher wants to go home, his boss tells him: 'I will go for a businesstrip to Norway. Tomorrow I will depart from Heathrow airport.' Mr. Fisher however advises him to take a boat. 'Why should I?' asked the president. 'This night I dreamed that the plane to Norway crashes, just before it will land,' is the response. The president smiles first, but since he is pretty superstitious he decides to take the boat. When he arrives in Norway, he is told that the plane which he should have taken had crashed.
