Formula:

P = q x ρ x g x h Where, P = Pump Power ρ = Fluid Density q = Flow Rate h = Head Difference g = Acceleration

Example:

If the flow rate is 18 m3/s, fluid density is 21 kg / m3 and head difference is 6mm

Solution:

P = q x ρ x g x h
= 18 x 21 x 9.8 x 0.006
= 22.2415 Watts
