Darcy's Law - Saturated Soil:

Total Volume: Voids Volume: Solids Volume: Where, Vt = Total Volume, Vv = Voids Volume, Vs = Solids Volume.

Example:

A flow of liquid has voids volume of 25 m3 and solid's volume of 50 m3

Using Darcy Law - Saturated Soil Formula

Total Volume = Vv + Vs
= 25 + 50
= 75 m3
