How to Find Resonance Frequency of LC Circuit Connected in Parallel Formula, Example

Definition:

The frequency at which the inductive and capacitive reactances of a series resonant circuit are equal. The frequency at which the series impedance of a series resonant circuit is a maximum.

Formula :
Resonant frequency = 1 / 2 π LC
where,

L=value of Inductance C=value of capacitor

Example:

Find out the Frequence of the parallel circuit which has capcitor 3 uF and Inductance 7 uF

Given,

Capacitance (C) = 3 uF Inductance (L) = 7 uF

To Find

Resonant frequency

Solution
Resonant frequency =1 / 2 π LC
= 1/2 x 22/7 x 3 x 7
= 1/2 x 3.14 x 21
=32503.8447822 Hz
