The density of a material is defined as its mass per unit volume. A fibrous tissue in the root and stem of trees and plants is called as wood. In general, Wood is differentiated as Low Density and High Density Wood. Timber with density below 540 kg/m3 are called as low density wood and with density above 540 kg/m3 are called as high density wood.
