#### Example

1. If the horsepower is 12, voltage 15, efficieny is 10 and power factor is 1, for a single phase AC

A = ( 12 * 746 ) / ( 15 * 10 * 1 )
= 59.68
Therefore, the Ampere is 59.68

2. For a Two phase AC, if the kilowatts is 12, voltage is 15 and power factor is 1, then

A = (12 * 1000 ) / ( 15 * 1 * 2 )
= 400
Therefore, the Ampere is 400

3. For a Three Phase Ac, if the Kilowatts Amp is 12 and Voltage is 15, then

A = ( 12 * 1000 ) / ( 15 * 1.73 )
= 462.43
Therefore, the Ampere is 462.43
