### Example:

A 36 year old man weighing 60 kg with a height of 165 cm, volume of urine in a day of 200cc, urine area nitrogen of 20mg/dL, plasma urea nitrogen of 50mg/dL, dialysate urea nitrogen of 12mg/dL, volume of dialysate as 35 L/day. Calculate Body Surface Area (BSA) and Residual Kidney Function.

BSA= 60^{0.425} × 165^{0.725} × 0.007184

= 1.6587 cm^{2}

Residual Kidney Function = ( (200 × 20) / 50 ) / 1440

= 0.0556 cc/min
