Example Calculate how much mg of phytanic acid contained in 50 gm of chicken?

Solution:
Given,

Food = chicken
weight = 50gm

To Find,
Phytanic Acid Value of Food

Step 1:
One Gram chicken contain 0.0257 mg of acid
Total weight of chicken = 50 gm

Step 2:
Phytanic acid Level in chicken = 0.0257 x 50 = 1.285 mg
[Refer the above table for the level of acid in 1 gm of food]
