Cerebral / Brain Perfusion Pressure Calculation
English

This calculator is used to calculate the cerebral perfusion pressure using the Mean Art, Intracranial, Central venous pressure. CPP is the net pressure gradient causing blood flow to the brain (brain perfusion).

Formula:

CPP = MAP - ICP OR CPP = MAP - CVP Where, MAP = Mean arterial pressure. ICP = Intracranial pressure. CVP = Central venous pressure.

The brain perfusion must be maintained within narrow limits. As, less pressure causes brain tissue to have inadequate blood flow and high pressure raises intracranial pressure (ICP).CPP Calculation is made easier. Free online Medical Calculators.
