Formula :
BF = (safetyfactor * kfactor * ultimatestrength * bendlength * thickness2) / dieOpening
Bending force(tons) = BF / 2000
Example :
die opening = thickness * die ratio
kfactor = 1.46 - (0.016 * die ratio)
BF = (4 * 1.364 * 4 * 3 * 32) / 18
=32.736
BF(tons) = 32.736 / 2000
BF(tons) = 0.02
