What is major arc - Definition and Meaning

Major Arc :

Major arc is defined as the bigger arc connecting two points on the edge of a circle. Measure of major arc is always more than 180° or π radian. The sum of the measures of the major arc and the minor arc is equal to 360° or 2π radian.
