Long Division is the process of dividing simple or complex numbers by breaking it into simple steps. The number which has to be divided is called the dividend, the number which divides the other number is called the divisor and the resulting answer is quotient. This division method may also have a remainder. Remainder is the number which is left over in a division which cannot be further divided by the divisor.
