Collatz Conjecture is otherwise called as 3n 1 Conjecture. It is found by Lothar Collatz in 1937. It follows only two properties.
n / 2 - If the number is even, divide it by two
3n + 1 - If the number is odd, triple it and add one.
The conjecture says, no matter what, you can start the sequence with any number but it will always end with one. The sequence of numbers involved is called as hailstone sequence or hailstone numbers.
