A number ‘n’ is called as an abundant number or excessive number, if the sum of the divisors of n is greater than or equal to 2n.
Formula :
Example :
n = 18,
The divisors of 'n' are, 1, 2, 3, 6, 9, 18.
Sum of divisors (s) = 39,
2n = 36,
39 > 36.
So the given number 18 is an abundant number.
