What is absolute value - Definition and Meaning

Absolute Value :

Absolute value is a positive value of any number. This includes zero also. If the value of the given number is negative, then the sign is ignored and taken as positive number. The symbol used in absolute value is | - a | vertical bar at the either side of the number.
