Newton apple and gravity

Newton Apple

Universal law of Gravitation was first stated by Sir Isaac Newton. Newton got the idea of gravity once when he was sitting under an Apple tree. Suddenly an Apple fell down from the branch, than he began to ponder about the force that makes the apple to fell down. He eventually named the force that pulling the body down as Gravity.

He proved that any two bodies in the universe attract each other with a force that is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them.

F = G * (m1 * m2 / r2)

Every point of mass attracts each other by an other point, by a force facing along the line intersecting at each other.

G is a Gravitational constant.

r is the distance between the center of the masses.

m1 , m2 is the first and second mass.

F is the force between the objects.
