Formula :
Percentage change=( [1st Value- 2nd value ] / 1st Value ) * 100
Example:

There were 60 bricks stored inside a construction store room and after two days, the count decreases to 40. Calculate the percentage change of the bricks.

Given,

First Value = 60 second Value = 40

Solution:

Percentage Change = ( [1st Value- 2nd value ] / 1st Value ) * 100 = ( 60-40 ) / 60 * 100 = 20/60 * 100 = 33.333 % The percentage of increase is 33.333 %
