Hepthathlon is an athletic competition conducted for both mean and women (usually women). The heptathlon points is the total score of the Points scored in seven events. Total heptathlon points is the sum of the points scored in 200 m race, 800 m race, 100 m hurdles, high jump points, long jump, shot put and javelin throw. For men, it is composed of different events.

y = CentiMeters Jumped in High Jump

l = Long Jump Points

z = CentiMeters Jumped in Long Jump

p = Shot Put Points

d = Distance Thrown (Shot Put)

q = Javelin Throw Points

w = Distance Thrown(Javelin Throw)

The formula is derived in such a way where, a standard and best performance will score 1000 points. The minimum score is 0 points. All events has a minimum performance level and this will be scored 0.
