Creatinine Clearance is a test performed to find the GFR (Glomerular filtration rate) in the body. This formula is used to calculate the estimated creatinine clearance rate (CrCl) in the body. You can use a different GF for calculating the eCcr for male and female.
GFR is the measure of the rate of the functioning of kidneys and its filtering units. The estimated CrCl can be calculated from the stable serum creatinine in a person.
