The physical constant that relates atomic mass and molar mass is referred to as molar mass constant, denoted by Mu. The value of the constant is 1 g/mol in terms of SI units. The molar mass of an element is the atomic weight in grams per mole. The constant is also related to the mass of a carbon-12 atom in grams.
