Definition:

Click-through rate (CTR) refers to the ratio of the number of clicks done by the users on an online advertisement in a website.

Formula :
CTR = CPM / (1000 x CPC)
Where,
CPM = Cost per Impressions CPC = Cost per Click CTR = Click Through Rate
Example:

Find out the CTR(Click-through rate) of an advertisement if CPM is 3200 $ and CPC is 3 $.

Given,

CPM = 3200 $ CPC = 3 $

Solution:

Substitute the given values in the formula, = CPM / (1000 x CPC) = 3200 / (1000 x 3 ) = (3200 / 3000)*100 CTR = 106.66 %
