Where, p = Wetted Perimeter of Trapezoidal Channel b = Bottom Width h = Liquid Depth T = Width of the Liquid Surface

Example

A trapezoidal channel with bottom width 10m, liquid depth 8 m and liquid surface width 15 m will have wetted perimeter of
= 10 + 2 ( ( ( 15 - 10 ) / 2 )² + 8² ) 1 / 2
=26.7631 m
