Formula:

c= a × v × k × h)/1000 Where, c = Pump Operation Cost a = Amps Value v = Volts Value k = Your Cost Per kWattHour h = Hours Pump Is Used Per Day

Example

Consider a pond pump whose amps value is 5, volts is 5, cost per kwatthr is 2₹; and hours pumped per day is 3 hrs.

Pond Pump's Electricity Cost by Watts is thus calculated as follows,
c=((a x v x k x h)/1000)
Pond Pump cost per day = (5×5×2×3)/1000 = 150/1000
                                   = 0.15₹
Pump Electricity cost by watts per day is 0.15 ₹ , per month is 4.56 ₹ , per year is 54.75 ₹
