Interval Notation Calculator

A notation to express the interval as a pair of numbers is called as the interval notation. There are different types of interval representation namely, closed, open, half open and half closed. For example, (a, b) is an interval whose notation can be given as a < x < b. In set builder form it can be given as {x : a < x < b}. Find the numerical values, inequality, interval and set builder notation by entering the interval values.

Formula :

Interval (Set Builder) Notation = n1<=x <=n2 where, n1 = First Number , n2 = Second Number

[a,x] represents full closed which indicates that a and x are included in a set. (a,x) is open that indicates a and x are excluded from the set. [b,y) is half closed which indicates that b is included and y is excluded. (b,y] is half open that indicates b is excluded and y is included.
