By Distributive Property, a (b + c) = ab + ac LHS = a (b + c) = 5 × (3 + 9) = 5 x 12 = 60 RHS = ab + ac 5 × 3 + 5 × 9 = 15 + 45 = 60 From the above, LHS = RHS = 60. Hence, the distributive property is proved.
