UPS Power Requirement Calculator

A UPS Power Requirement Calculator performs the calculation of UPS load capability for the computer components. UPS has a Voltage Ampere Rating to deliver the maximum level of voltage and ampere.

1. All the UPS and system components are supplied with the AC line voltage. The default voltage is 117v.
2. The approximate load of the computer components can be entered either as wattage (watts) or amperage (amps).

Uninterrupted Power Supply Calculator

System (AC power line) Voltage = volts (all devices)

Device Power Load in Watts or Amps
Computer Load = watts amps
Monitor Load = watts amps
Any external modem = watts amps
Any external powered hub = watts amps
Any external router or switch = watts amps
Any external powered speakers = watts amps
Any external powered USB device = watts amps
Any external powered drive = watts amps
Any external powered camera = watts amps
Any external powered other device = watts amps

Minimum UPS Capability = VoltAmps
Suggested UPS Capability = VoltAmps

Formula Used :
Minimum UPS Capability = sysvoltage × ( addition of all device amps value ) + 1.4 × ( addition of all device watts value )

Where,
    sysvoltage = System (AC) Voltage

The minimum and the suggested power supply can be evaluated using this UPS Power Supply Requirement calculator.
