6) BMI calculation returns 'obese' for some
values which are clearly not. For example:
Weight: 80 Pounds
Height: 5'4" (163 CM)
Results:
SI Units: 13.69
US Units: 13.92
UK Units: 86.91
Your category is Obese

7) On both the Simple Regression Tutorial and the Simple Regression Calculator, you give the formula for the slope of the line as:
Slope(b) = NΣXY - (ΣX)(ΣY) / (NΣX2 - (ΣX)2)
However, I believe the terms to the left of the division symbol should be enclosed in brackets, i.e.:
Slope(b) = (NΣXY - (ΣX)(ΣY)) / (NΣX2 - (ΣX)2)
as indicated in the actual calculation just below it.[Admin: Issue Fixed] |

8) When using the correlation coefficient calculator, I input the following x values:
x = 4.63, 5.81, 6.10, 6.10
I also input the following "y" values:
y= 4.24, 5.33, 5.59, 5.40
It should have given me an r value = .989
However, it gave me a value of 2.something. I've tried it several times and kept on getting the same incorrect answer.
However, when I use whole numbers, it generates a correct correlation coefficient.

10) There seems to be an the divisor for the standard deviation page. The page reads
Step2: Use the formula
s = square root of[(sum of Xsquared -((sum of X)*(sum of X)/N))/(N-1)]
= square root of[(55-((15)*(15)/5))/(5-1)]
= square root of[(55-(255/5))/4]
= square root of[(55-45)/4]
= square root of[10/4]
= square root of[2.5]
s = 1.58113
U have 255/5 as 45 but shouldn't it be 51?
